About Deanna

Deanna grew up most of her life in Sherwood Park, Alberta. She grew up in a loving, God-fearing home with her parents and three siblings.  In her 20’s she traveled the world on mission trips travelling to Africa, Guatemala and many more places.  It was in her childhood and early adulthood that she began to develop a strong relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. By the time she was 35 years old, she was divorced and broken hearted. Fast forward a few years, she married the love of her life.  The tragedy of this happily ever after happened just shortly before Deanna wrote this book. Her soul mate went to heaven to early, and too suddenly.

The lessons Deanna has learned, through every part of her journey, is to turn to the one that made her. She has developed a solid prayer life and devotional time over the years. God is the one who can heal a broken heart and she can prove it. Deanna believes God can give you courage to make it through each day, each year, each storm
